Irondequoit man in guarded condition after struck by a vehicle on Halloween
Irondequoit, N.Y. (WHAM) - An Irondequoit man is battling serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night.
The Irondequoit Police Department responded to the call of a pedestrian struck in the area of Titus Avenue and Bouckhart Avenue.
The incident happened around 8:45 p.m.
Police say 48-year-old Kenneth Mayer Jr. was hit by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Titus Avenue. Mayer was crossing the road at the time.
He was taken to the Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated.
Mayer is currently in guarded condition.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the vehicle.
