Irondequoit, N.Y. - Irondequoit police and a SWAT unit asked residents on Dewberry Drive in Irondequoit to shelter in place during an ongoing investigation Saturday evening.

Police said a landlord who owns a property in the area said the home should be vacant, but discovered that all entrances have been barricaded from the inside.

The landlord supposedly could not make contact with anyone who may be inside.

Police said they were taking necessary precautions.

Officers later said no one was found inside the home.

Police said there was evidence that people were inside, but it's unclear what they were doing.
