Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - The Rochester Housing Authority and Pirate Toy Fund came together Thursday to help children in low-income housing, who may not otherwise receive a present during the holiday season.

The organizations gave out free gifts and books to every child, ages 1-14, living in RHA's Public Housing.

This year RHA and Pirate Toy Fund distributed 200 presents.

This is the 11th year the program has taken place.
