Man arraigned on murder charge for Flanders St. shooting in April

Rochester, N.Y. - A man was arraigned Wednesday on a second degree murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting in April.

Cleveland St. John was also arraigned on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

On April 25, 27-year-old Sherod Hurst was fatally shot in the area of Flanders Street and Thurston Avenue.

In June, Rochester Police announced they were looking for St. John in connection with the shooting.

In court Wednesday, St. John pleaded not guilty to the murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
