Greece, N.Y. – A Rochester man has been charged after allegedly robbing a 7-Eleven store in Greece Friday.
Joshua Carson, 20, was arrested for robbery, criminal use of a weapon and other charges following a robbery at 2678 Dewey Avenue.
Greece Police say they responded to a hold-up alarm at the store at 5:50 a.m. Officers learned a man wearing a bandana over his face demanded money from store employees while threatening to use a gun. The suspect reportedly left the store on foot with a small amount of cash.
Police said the suspect was located a short time later. He reportedly ran from officers but was taken into custody after a brief struggle. A loaded .380 gun was reportedly found on him.
Carson was arraigned Friday morning and remanded to jail.
Greece Police say Rochester Police assisted in their investigation.
