Man indicted for beating Rochester man to death in June
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) – A Rochester man was indicted Friday on a murder charge in connection to the death of a man who died weeks after a fight in Rochester.
Jimmie Wright, 22, was indicted by a Monroe County grand jury on one count of second degree murder.
On June 28, Rochester Police responded to a large fight on Joseph Avenue. Jean Mejias-Vargas was taken to Rochester General Hospital with a serious head wound. He died on July 22.
Wright was arrested in August.
