Rochester, N.Y. -- Rochester Police are investigating a shooting on the city's east side.
According to police, a 28-year-old city man was shot around 2:15 p.m. Sunday on Bay Street between Ackerman and Goodman streets.
The injured man was shot at least once in the lower body and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
No suspects are in custody.
Sunday's shooting comes less than 24 hours after a 21-year-old city man was fatally shot just a couple of blocks away on Webster Avenue.
