Missing hiker from Webster found dead in Adirondacks

The Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports a hiker from Webster was found dead after a two-day search.

State Police are investigating the death of a man from Webster in the Adirondack Mountains.

The DEC in Watertown said 50-year-old Skip Baker went missing in the area of Armstrong Mountain in Keene by the New York State Forest Rangers.

Baker's body found after a two-day search in a ravine near the east branch of the AuSable River.

Investigators said there are no signs of foul play, but it remains unclear exactly how Baker died.

An autopsy will be performed at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake Wednesday afternoon.
