Webster, N.Y. (WHAM) - The newest park lodge in Monroe County is now open for use at Webster Park.

Webster and Monroe County leaders, including Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo, cut the ribbon on the lodge Monday morning.

The Lakefront Lodge overlooks Lake Ontario and can accommodate nearly 100 visitors indoors, with room for another 60 in the open-air shelter next to it. The lodge has an indoor gas fireplace, outdoor campfire pit, stainless steel appliances, air conditioning, two indoor restrooms, parking for 50 vehicles and a covered patio with Adirondack chairs.

“We are now proud to offer 41 enclosed lodges for daily rental throughout our Monroe County Parks,” said County Parks Director Larry Staub. “You really can’t beat its ideal location and spectacular features… it takes our Park facilities to a whole new level.”

Anyone who wants to reserve the Lakefront Lodge or any other lodge can do so online here.
