West Henrietta, N.Y. - People in our area Saturday got a chance to feel like what it was like to be an orphan last century. Before regulations were put in place, there were orphan trains, which would ship children without parents to the mid-west. We met one woman Saturday, who recently found out her ancestors made a similar journey.

"I was just kind of blown away by the whole thing. That this entire family in Virginia came from my family that we didn't even know about," said Sarah Brinklow Dattilo.

"Young children had to go through an experience where they have no idea of their future - they have no control over what's going to happen to them," said Jeri Dube, a volunteer at Saturday's event.
