Police: 3 arrested after brawl on Farmington basketball court

Farmington, N.Y. (WHAM) - Two people were arrested Sunday evening after a large fight broke out at a basketball court in Farmington.

Troopers said they were called to the Hale Court Apartments on Mertensia Road around 6 p.m. for about 30 people gathered around the court with several people fighting. One of the people was reported armed with a baseball bat.

State Police arrested 35-year-old Jennifer Concepcion and 18-year-old Ramon Mulero and charged both with inciting to riot, obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct.

A third person, a 15-year-old boy, was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and inciting to riot.

Police are still working to identify other people who were involved.

More arrests are pending.
