Police: Greece man suffers serious injury from motorcycle crash, faces DWI charges
Rochester, N.Y. - Police say a Greece man suffered a significant but non-life-threatening injury after falling from his motorcycle in Rochester Friday night. He is now facing DWI charges.
Investigators say Robert Hartman, 66, was traveling west on Beach Avenue when he fell off the motorcycle. They say witnesses in the area reported the motorcycle was swerving prior to the incident.
Hartman suffered a serious injury to his leg but is expected to survive. Police say he will face DWI charges once he leaves the hospital.
A stretch of Beach Road was closed to traffic, but it has since reopened.
