Police: Man arrested while driving vehicle used in robbery earlier in May
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHAM) - A man was taken into custody Saturday morning for driving a vehicle allegedly in connection with a prior incident.
Rochester Police responded to the call just before 11 a.m.
Police say the vehicle failed to pull over for officers, causing a car chase that lasted about 10 minutes.
The suspect stopped on Laser Street and then fled on foot.
He was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
Police say the vehicle in question was wanted in connection with an armed robbery that happened on May 19.
The robbery took place at Culver Pak convenience store on Culver Road.
Police say the clerk was robbed at gun point.
The investigation is on-going and charges are pending.
