Police: Man embezzled $10,000 from Lima business
Lima, N.Y. (WHAM) - State Police arrested a Rochester man after he allegedly embezzled thousands of dollars from a business in Lima.
Troopers said 28-year-old Curtis Welch was working in payroll at Superior Walls of Upstate New York, Inc.
Welch is accused of altering payroll records and embezzling more than $10,000 from the business from December 2017 until July.
Police charged Welch with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.
Welch was remanded to the Livingston County Jail to await arraignment.
