Police identify man injured in Dewey Ave shooting

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Rochester police have identified the man who was injured in a shooting on Dewey Avenue late Saturday night.

Police say 23-year-old Raymond Walls of Fairport was shot at least once in the upper torso shortly after 11:00 p.m. Saturday.

Walls was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

He is currently listed in guarded condition.

Police say a vehicle was stopped a short distance away. Police are still investigating if the people inside the car were involved in the shooting or not.

No arrests have been made.
