Police: Man killed in snowy crash in Lima

    Lima, N.Y. (WHAM) - One man was killed in a crash early Thursday morning in Lima.

    New York State Police said the driver, 59-year-old Stephen Robertson of Lima, was driving south down Clay Street around 6:30 a.m. when he hit a snow drift.

    The man's car then went off the road and slammed into a pole. The driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to troopers.

    Speed is also believed to have been a factor.
