Police: Man walks into traffic, struck by vehicle

A man is recovering from minor injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on the city's southeast side.

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A man is recovering from minor injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on the city's southeast side.

Rochester Police responded to the Park Avenue area around 2 a.m. on Saturday.

Officers say a 26-year-old man stepped into the road and was struck by a Nissan.

He sustained minor injuries and was taken to University of Rochester Medical Center to be treated.

The driver of the Nissan was not injured and remained on scene to cooperate.

Police say charges will most likely not be filed.
