Police: SUV involved in fatal hit-and-run recovered
Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester Police say they have found the vehicle believed to have been involved in a fatal hit-and-run Friday on Clifford Avenue.
Investigators recovered the Kia Sorrento they say hit 62-year-old Nilsa Rivera. While police are not releasing further details at this time, they continue to encourage anyone with information on the case to come forward.
Friday, Rivera was hit while walking on Clifford Avenue. She died about 30 minutes later, at a hospital. Police say the driver of the striking vehicle did not stop.
