Police: Two arrested in Troy quadruple murder investigation

TROY, N.Y. (WHAM/WRGB) - Police are reporting that two people have been arrested in connection to a quadruple homicide investigation in Troy.

According to WRGB, 24-year-old Justin Mann and 38-year-old James White, both from Schenectady, pleaded not guilty in court early Saturday morning.

They both face four counts of first and second degree murder charges.

The men are accused of killing 11-year-old Jeremiah "JJ" Myers; his sister 5-year-old Shanise Myers; their mother, 35-year-old Shanta Myers; and her partner, 22-year-old Brandi Mells on December 26 in their basement apartment in Troy.

Police held a press conference at 11 a.m. Saturday to discuss the arrests.
