Police: Two hospitalized after car crashes into tree on Joseph Avenue

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHAM) - Police say two people were taken to the hospital following an accident on Joseph Avenue Sunday night.

    It happened around 10:30 p.m.

    The driver, a 21-year-old Rochester man, was heading north on Joseph Avenue when police say he lost control of his car and hit a tree at 251 Joseph Avenue.

    He and his passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Brighton, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    The driver was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired.
