Rochester man arrested with loaded handgun at Hall of Justice
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A man in Rochester was arrested Friday morning after deputies said he tried to go into the Monroe County Hall of Justice with a loaded handgun.
Deputies said 35-year-old Robert Salters tried to enter the Hall of Justice while carrying a loaded .25 caliber Raven Model MP-25 handgun. He did not declare the gun while walking through the screening process.

The gun had the serial number defaced and had six rounds of ammunition in the magazine. Salters had wrapped it in a plastic bag and kept it in his coat pocket.
Salters was going into the Hall of Justice for a scheduled court appearance. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon 1st and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon 2nd.
Correction: A previous version of this article stated Mr. Salters was on probation at the time of his arrest. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office later sent an amended news release, saying Salters was not on probation at the time.
