Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Rochester man has been charged with manslaughter in the death of his nine-month-old daughter in January, police said.
Rochester Police said 24-year-old Charlie Richmond was arrested and charged with first-degree manslaughter in the death of Arabella, his daughter, on New Year's Day.
On January 1, officers were called to a home on Culver Road around 8 a.m. for the report of an unresponsive baby. EMS workers performed CPR on Arabella and took her to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The baby died two days later.

On August 8, the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office ruled the death of a homicide caused by blunt force trauma to the head.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force took him into custody in Newark, Wayne County on September 5.
