Rochester man receives minor injuries in stabbing

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Rochester man was injured in a stabbing late Friday night.

Police say they were dispatched to Norfolk Place shortly after 10:30 p.m. for the report of a stabbing.

When officers arrived, they say they found a 27-year-old Rochester man with a minor injury to his upper torso.

Investigators later determined the incident occurred at the intersection of Lyell Avenue and Whitney Street.

47-year-old William Young Jr. of Rochester was arrested for Assault 2nd.

The victim was treated and released from Strong Memorial Hospital.
