Rochester, N.Y. - Usually when you get pulled over by police it's not a good sign, but not in this case!

Instead of handing out tickets, Rochester police teamed up with the House of Refuge to pull people over and hand out Christmas presents.

Several cars were randomly selected and instead of tickets, people received gifts.

"Having the officer go and give them a Christmas basket instead of giving them a ticket, it brings joy on them and maybe have a different eye to look at them," said Bijaya Khadka of the Bhutanese Refugee Community. "We just want to bring the warmness and the joy of Christmas."

This is the second year for the surprise Christmas basket delivery and the group says it plans on making next year's event even bigger.
