Rochester School Board rethinking daycare policy

Rochester, N.Y. – A big drop in the number of teen moms has the Rochester City School District rethinking a 20-year policy.

That policy said the district would help student moms find childcare. The district says, not only is there no longer a need for it, but the policy was never enforced.

The district is seeking public comment on the daycare policy, and if people tell them not to end it, they will have to consider that before a vote early next year.
