Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - A charity hockey game to keep children warm in the Rochester and Syracuse areas will be held this weekend.

The Rochester Fire Department Hockey Team will play against the Syracuse Fire Department in a charity game on Saturday, March 10.

The game will raise money for Operation Warm: Coats for Kids. The fundraiser brought in enough money in 2017 to buy 115 coats for the kids at School No. 9.

The school for this year’s give away has yet to be determined.

The game is scheduled to be held at the Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex on the Monroe Community College campus. It should begin at 6 p.m.

Donations will be accepted at the door. A 50/50 will be held as well.
