Victor, N.Y. – A local student’s dream came true Wednesday – thanks to The Dream Factory!

The organization helps fulfill wishes for children with chronic and critical illnesses. Wednesday, it helped give a shopping spree to Michael Sepulveda of Rochester.

Michael lives with Hirschprung’s disease and has had a number of surgeries. Wednesday was a chance for him to focus on fun. The Dream Factory set him up with a shopping experience to pick up some necessities. Prior to Wednesday, the organization had also gotten him a laptop to help with his upcoming collegiate studies.

“It kind of feels like a clearing in the storm, if that makes sense,” Michael said. “Over the last couple years of my life, they’ve kind of been just a tornado of issues and problems that we’ve had to handle one right after the other. So now that everything’s kind of coming to a cool, it just feels kind of nice to have a good experience.”

Michael is planning to go to MCC and is looking to study both nursing and music.
