Rochester woman struck by car on Dewey Ave
A Rochester woman was injured when she was hit by a car on Dewey Avenue Tuesday.
Rochester police say the 32-year-old woman was crossing the road, near Pullman Avenue, when a truck struck her and skidded into the oncoming lane, colliding into another vehicle.
According to police, the truck driver involved saw two vehicles racing around him before the crash.
The woman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to the upper body. No other injuries were reported, according to police.
Police are interviewing witnesses at the scene.
