RTS launches survey aimed at redesigning public transit
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - The first steps toward redesigning public transit in Monroe County are getting underway.
Regional Transit Service (RTS) wants people who use its transit services to tell them what needs to be done to overhaul the system. Last month, RTS announced its intention to update itself with input from the community.
As part of that, RTS launched an online Reimagine RTS survey to identify priorities, rank possible route structures, and provide the locations of important destinations.
The online survey can be accessed on phones, computers and - for those without computer access - at a computer near the customer service desks at the RTS Transit Center.
An information session is scheduled to be held on October 25 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the SUNY Brockport MetroCenter Grand Hallway on St. Paul Street. This is located across the street from the RTS Transit Center.
Reimagine RTS is scheduled to conclude by the end of 2018.
The Reimagine RTS survey is available online here.
