Driver suffers serious injuries after Chili crash
Chili, N.Y. – A Chili woman suffered serious injuries following a head-on crash Wednesday evening.
Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies say they were dispatched to the area of 325 Paul Road around 5:30 p.m. for the report of a crash with a person ejected. There, they found 33-year-old Angela Ramage outside her vehicle. Deputies say they later determined she was able to get out of her vehicle on her own, and was not ejected from it.
Deputies say Ramage was traveling westbound on Paul Road and another vehicle, driven by 18-year-old Robert Hobbs of Chili, was traveling east on Paul Road. They say Hobbs crossed the center line and hit Ramage’s vehicle head-on.
Ramage was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. As of 11 p.m. Wednesday, she was listed in satisfactory condition at the hospital. Hobbs suffered minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
Deputies say their investigation is ongoing.
