Henrietta, N.Y. (WHAM) - A stretch of West Henrietta Road was briefly closed to traffic Monday morning after a truck crash.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies said the truck crashed around 9 a.m. near Telephone Road.

According to investigators, a roll-off dump truck was driving down the road with the boom still in the upright position. The boom snagged some power lines and brought down both the wires and part of the pole.

The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash. The truck belongs to Boon & Sons, a garbage collection company based in North Chili.

West Henrietta Road was closed between Martin Road and Telephone Road until 11 a.m. The entrance to Overland Trail from West Henrietta Road will remain closed until they repair the pole.

RG&E is on scene at this time assessing the damage and determining what to repair.

Deputies said alcohol and drugs were not a factor in this incident.
