Two injured after shooting at Goodman Plaza

Rochester, N.Y. – Two people were injured following a shooting on North Goodman Street Monday evening.

Police responded to Goodman Plaza around 5 p.m. for the report of shots fired.

They say a 32-year-old woman was shot in the lower body; her injury is not considered life-threatening. A 60-year-old woman was said to have had her foot grazed by a bullet, but she declined to be taken to the hospital.

Police say they believe the victims were bystanders, and that the rounds were fired by a man a distance away from them. No arrests have been made.
