Police: Woman charged after stabbing boyfriend Friday night
Rochester, N.Y. - A man is expected to recover after police say he was stabbed by his girlfriend Friday night.
Around 9:30 p.m., officers received a report of a stabbing on West Broad Street. They say a 51-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed at least once in the upper body.
Police say 45-year-old Renetha Gathers was arrested and charged with second degree assault and aggravated criminal contempt.
She is scheduled to be arraigned Saturday.
