(ROCHESTER) - May 1, 2018 – Two non-profit organizations in Rochester received $100,000 in honor of National Small Business Month.
The Urban League of Rochester (ULR) and the Ibero-American Action League are collaborating to make the Minority and Women Owned Business Development Center more visible in neighborhoods served by Ibero. The focus will be on the Latino community in Rochester.
“Assisting small businesses is critical to the economic vitality of the Rochester community,” said Urban League of Rochester President and CEO William Clark.
The award was given as part of the KeyBank Business Boost & Build Program.
The program is designed to stimulate economic growth in Ohio and upstate New York.
