Visentin assumes role as Xerox's CEO, VP
Norwalk, Conn. – John Visentin has been appointed the new CEO and vice president of Xerox Corporation.
As part of a deal reached between Xerox’s Board of Directors and key shareholders, Visentin assumed the role as former CEO Jeff Jacobsen, as well as other board members, stepped down from their roles at the company.
The deal, which saw an end to the proposed merger between Xerox and Fujifim, went into effect earlier this week.
Keith Cozza has been elected chairman of the Board of Directors.
The company says its annual shareholders meeting will be held on July 31.
