East Rochester Police are asking for help in finding a missing woman.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHAM) - The East Rochester Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing woman.

Police say Ellice Harding was seen on Friday morning leaving work and walking in the area of Genesee Street and Main Street in Rochester.

She was later seen getting on a bus at West Main Street and Henion Street around 8:40 a.m.

Family friends say Ellice is a speech pathologist at Wilson Academy.

She was last seen wearing a black coat over a cardigan and black pants. The cardigan is believed to be white, grey, or purple.

She has brown hair, hazel eyes, and wears glasses.

Police say Ellice has limited ties to the City of Rochester and does not have her phone with her.

The Regional Transit Service confirmed with police that she did get off the RTS bus at East View Mall.

Police say she exited the bus around 9:45 a.m. on Friday.

The East Rochester Police Department is now working with mall security, the Ontario County Sheriff's Department, and New York State Police.

A community organized search was conducted in Powder Mills Park on Sunday morning.

Family that organized the search say they are not positive Ellice is in the park.

Family members told 13WHAM that they think Ellice may have gotten on another bus after getting off the bus at the mall.

Police were not involved in the search.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
