(WHAM) - On October 17, our neighbors to the north will become one of the only countries in the world to legalize recreational marijuana.

The change is expected to cause problems at the border, where the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency will continue to apply federal law and regulations that treat marijuana as a banned substance.
