Albany, N.Y. - Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Sunday he is advancing legislation to help in the fight against HIV/AIDS in New York State.

The new legislation is part of the governor's effort to reduce the number of new HIV infections in the state annually from nearly 3,000 to 750 by the year 2020.

The legislation includes extending the age limit of HIV testing, advancing data sharing with care coordinators and managers and expanding STD screening opportunities.
