Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) The long-awaited day has finally arrived in Rochester.

The Rochester Plates will be celebrating the city's iconic food staple at its home page Thursday evening.

The reason behind the name change is the 100-year celebration of the Garbage Plate - coined by Nick Tahou's. The restaurant has set up a booth at the stadium for the game.
