Start Up New York drawing criticism

Rochester, N.Y. - A job creation program is drawing a lot of criticism for spending millions in taxpayer money to generate just 76 jobs in the first year.

Yet the number of jobs created in the Rochester area suggests the program is having some success.

A state audit called out StartUp New York and the state development agency behind it, but those involved in the program defended it, pointing to some successes in Rochester.
