Bills don't stop dealing, trade up for linebacker Tremaine Edmunds
The big victory for the Bills after trading for Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen was that they didn't have to give away both of this year's first round picks to do so.
That allowed them to make another move later in the draft to get the defensive playmaker Sean McDermott covets.
The Bills swapped first round picks with Baltimore, moving up from 22 to 16 while also sending the first pick of the third round to the Ravens. Buffalo then used that pick on 19-year-old linebacker Tremaine Edmunds out of Virginia Tech.
Edmunds was widely expected to be long gone at that point of the draft, so Brandon Beane made the jump up six spots.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott likes to have a playmaking linebacker in his defense, and Edmunds fits the bill perfectly.
