Buffalo, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bills have traded defensive lineman Marcell Dareus.

The team announced Friday that the two-time Pro Bowler will be heading to Jacksonville. In turn, the Bills will receive the 2018 sixth round draft pick.

Now, depending on Dareus' performance this season, the pick could move up the the 5th round.

In 2015, Dareus received a $100 million six-year extension. After this, his sacks dropped from almost 30 in his first four years to seven in the last three.

This season, it took Dareus until Week 5 to record his first sack.

The 27-year-old will reunite with former Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone, who now coaches for Jacksonville.

This is a developing story. 13WHAM will provide updates as they become available.
