Amerks pick up point, but fall in shootout 5-4

For the 13th time in 14 games, the Amerks picked up at least one point.

But for the second straight game, they failed to pick up two.

Rochester lost 5-4 in a shootout to the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday night. Rochester will hit the road for a Saturday night tilt at first place Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Four different Amerks scored goals for the team tonight, with three coming in the second period, giving the team a 4-3 lead heading into the third.

But Hartford picked up the only goal of the third, sending it to overtime and eventually a shootout, where the Wolf Pack won on the fifth round.
