The Rochester Red Wings will have a new manager in 2018.

A report surfaced Thursday stating Quade was voluntarily leaving his post in Rochester, and will become a roving outfield instructor with the Twins, a position he held with the Yankees back in 2014.

13 WHAM sports confirmed the report.

Quade was excellent at the helm of the Red Wings, compiling a 238-192 record . However, the Wings failed to qualify for the post season in each of his three seasons with the team thanks to some bad luck, and stellar play from opponents in the IL North Division.
