A night after scoring nine runs on 16 hits, the Red Wings offense managed no runs on just four hits in a 4-0 loss in Scranton against the Railriders.

Rochester will try to win the four game set on Sunday and could get a boost from a big leaguer. Ervin Santana will make his first rehab start for the Red Wings, sixth in the minor leagues overall. He's still looking for his first win, and has yet to pitch in the majors yet this season.

The Wings did lose Byron Buxton for at least a few games. The center fielder was placed on the disabled list retroactive to July 13th with a left wrist strain.
