Dan Fetes

Dan Fetes joined the 13WHAM Sports Department in June 2019.

Dan grew up playing sports dreaming of being in the NHL or MLB. When reality set in, he knew he wanted to cover the sports he loves.

A Rochester native, Dan graduated from Webster Thomas High School and earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from SUNY Fredonia.

At Fredonia, Dan did color commentary for the DIII Men’s Hockey team while playing four years on the DIII baseball team.

He began his TV career as a sports reporter/anchor at WENY-TV in Elmira, NY. In 2015. Dan was then promoted to sports director and 15 months later, he returned home to Rochester in 2016 at WROC-TV.

Dan spent two and a half years at WROC before joining the 13WHAM team.

He’s enjoyed covering the Bills, Sabres, Amerks, Red Wings, Syracuse athletics, Section V and all that Western New York has to offer.

Dan is a diehard Atlanta Braves fan who enjoys craft beers and cocktails while relaxing with his wife Renee and their cat Winston.
