Dan Schrack

Dan Schrack joined the 13WHAM News team in June of 2019, coming back to Western New York from the Twin Tiers.

Dan began his career in news at WIVB-TV, News 4 Buffalo, as an intern. Prior to the end of his internship, he was hired as an Assignment Editor then began producing the morning news broadcast, "Wake Up!" Following his time in Buffalo, Dan headed south to Elmira to begin his on-air career at WENY-TV. In 2017 he started producing and anchoring the morning news for southern New York and northern Pennsylvania.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York, after high school, Dan spent 10 years bouncing between New York City and Los Angeles, California. In 2013, he began pursuing an education in Public Communications. In 2015, Dan was awarded the "Tim Russert Medal of Merit" by the Buffalo Broadcasters Association, for "Student of Outstanding Performance."

Dan is grateful for the opportunity to again call Western New York his home, despite the snow.
