Stephannie Joseph

Stephannie Joseph joined the 13WHAM news team in June 2023 as a reporter.

She graduated from Boston University in 2023 (go Terriers!) and received dual degrees in journalism and sociology.

Stephannie is a major news junkie. As a student, the newsroom was her “happy place.” She co-produced award-winning content and covered Boston’s historic 2021 mayoral race and 2022 gubernatorial election in Massachusetts. She also doubled as an anchor/producer on BUTV’s daily news show, “The Wire,” and as a stage manager/correspondent on BUTV’s “Good Morning BU.” When Stephannie wasn’t in front of the camera, she handled operations for BUTV as general manager. She also worked part-time as a news writer at a local station.

Stephannie is originally from Maryland and has also covered news in her home state, the nation’s capital and Virginia as an Emma Bowen Foundation fellow.
